Here's a quick summary: the indicia area is where Modern will inkjet the indicia or where you would place a stamp if you are mailing the piece on your own. The addressing area is where the recipient's address will be placed, and the barcode clear zone is where Modern will inkjet the barcode or where the post office would print the barcode if you mail these yourself. Also, notice the bottom 2 and 3/4 inch area where it says "no mailable addresses". This low address area is where the post office will use automated machines to scan for deliverable addresses. Make sure there are no additional addresses here, or the USPS could scan it and deliver it to that address instead of the intended recipient. This is an example of how a mail piece would look with the inkjet indicia in the upper right-hand corner, the recipient address, and the barcode inkjetted down at the bottom of the piece.
